A Servant Heart has


If you imagine the attitude of a servant, do you think of it as the only activity performed by one having skill in the lower levels? If your answer is YES, you are mistaken.
The attitude of a servant is not about position or skill. That is a matter of attitude. You must have met with the people who occupy positions of service that has a bad attitude; workers roughly in the apparatus of government, the waitress who did not bother to record your order, or a shopkeeper who preferred to busy talking on the phone than to serve shoppers .

Just like you can feel when you see a worker does not want help. You can easily detect whether someone has a heart of a servant or not. And indeed the best leader's desire to serve others, not himself. What does it mean to be like a servant? It means a leader who has the heart of a servant.

1. Putting others of his own schedule
The first sign of the attitude of a servant is the ability to prioritize others than himself and his own personal desires. This is more than just delaying personal agenda. That means people are really aware of the needs of others, volunteered to help, and able to accept the desires of others as something important.

2. Peace in the
The core attitude of a servant is peace. Show me someone who thinks he is too important to serve, then we will see someone whose life is not peaceful. How we treat each other, really reflects how we view ourselves.

Have peace that only the leaders who give power to others. Similarly, only a truly Have peace that can show the attitude of a servant.

3. Putting the service of others
Virtually no one would serve if forced. Some even serve in a crisis. But we can actually see the heart of someone who menginisiatifkan service to others. Great leaders see the need, take advantage of the opportunity, and selfless service without expecting anything

4. Not too interested in the position
The leaders who acted as a servant does not focus on rank or position. When Colonel Norman Swchwarzkopf stepped into a minefield, the rank is the last thing he thinks about. He is an individual who is trying to help others. Precisely the leader actually gave him a greater sense of duty to serve.

5. Serving out of love
The attitude of a servant is not motivated by manipulation or self promotion, but driven by love. In the end the influence and relationship quality depends on the concern for others. That's why it's important to the leaders willing to serve.
